• What is the difference between Credit One and my bank?

  Credit One is able on many occasions get lower rates than if you were to go directly to your bank. • What is the process?

  Firstly we take down your application over the phone, email our Privacy Act Consent and Accountants Authorisation to you to sign, once all information received we endeavour to have an approval within 24-48 hours – this size and complexity of the transaction can impact this service standard.

• How long with this process take?

  Once we have everything back that we need from you, we have answer back from the financiers within 24-36 hours. Once approved and the invoice for the goods is obtained we can have documents out to you on the same day.

• Do you need my financials?

  No, depending on the age of goods, time you have been in business and your credit history, financials may not be relevant, we have access to a broad panel of lenders allowing us to get most clients set no matter what circumstances.

• How are you paid?

  Banks and finance companies will pay us based on several factors including the amount of support we give to them. There is no expense or out of pocket charges for you.

• Can I pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly?

  Most commercial loans are structured with monthly repayments or seasonal, weekly or fortnightly repayment cycles are rare.

• Can I make additional payments?

  You can although in most cases this will only place your repayments in advance and not reduce the interest as is the case with most consumer finance facilies.

• Do I have to pay the fees upfront or can I finance them?

  This depends on the financier – normally they are collected by direct debit at the time of settlement or drawdown of the loan.

• Do I have to buy from a dealer?

  No, you can also purchase from a private vendor, we will undertake necessary steps to ensure the goods and vendor are satisfactory to the lender.

• Can you organise insurance for me?

  Yes in many cases we can if not we have business partners who can help

• How old can the goods be?

  As we have a wide range of lenders we are able to get goods of any age approved even 1978 model tractors.

• Is there a fee if I decide not to go ahead?

  No, we don’t charge any fee to you for our services.
  If in the very rare circumstance that we do we will send you a letter of mandate for your acceptance prior to commencing any work.
